FAQ's

Are any loans available that dont require a credit check?

No. With the exception of some logbook lenders, most lenders will require a formal credit check in order to establish your creditworthiness. A lender will need to check into your past credit to check for any issues such as records of missed payments, outstanding or unpaid debts, CCJ's or even a past history of bankruptcy.

I work casual part time hours, can I still get a loan?

Yes. A lender will look at the loan affordability and check that your current income from your casual work is adequate enough to meet the loan repayments. You will also need to show proof of income from your current employer such as your most recent payslips.

Can I get a loan while being self employed?

Yes. Most lenders consider self employed applicants as long as you can show adequate proof of income from either your sole trader business or income and dividends if a company director.

I'm a pensioner and receive some benefits, can I still get a loan?

Yes. There may be some restrictions depending on your age. However many lenders will consider applicants up to the age of 70, 75 depending on the lengh of the loan term you require.

How much can I borrow?

Generally, most unsecured lenders who offer loans up to £25,000. If you wish to take out a larger loan then you may need a secured loan otherwise known as homeowner loans. To take out a secured loan then you will need the help of a broker.
