Life Insurance & Protection Advisor (Remote Position)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Life Insurance Advisor to join our growing team at Lending Expert Money. The successful candidate will have prior experience in the UK protection market and a strong understanding of life insurance, critical illness, and income protection products. This role will develop into a leadership position as we look to establish and grow our insurance and protection team.

You will be responsible for providing tailored protection advice to clients, ensuring compliant recommendations, and delivering excellent customer outcomes in line with FCA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide regulated advice on life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and related protection products

• Conduct comprehensive fact-finds and needs assessments

• Research and recommend suitable products from a panel or whole-of-market providers

• Clearly explain policy features, exclusions, and benefits to clients

• Ensure all documentation and processes comply with FCA requirements and company compliance standards

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships

• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and lead management

• Maintain accurate client records using CRM systems

• Keep up to date with market trends, product changes, and regulatory updates

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience advising on life insurance in the UK market

• Proven track record of achieving protection sales targets

• Strong knowledge of UK protection products and underwriting processes

• Understanding of FCA compliance requirements and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles

• CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) preferred

• Full UK right to work
