About Natwest Intermediary Solutions Mortgages

Natwest Intermediary Solutions has announced changes last year to its lending criteria following a review of its lending policies and key market segments. The minimum income requirement from at least one applicant for a residential interest only mortgage has been reduced from £100,000 to £75,000. The maximum loan-to-value (LTV) for a residential mortgage on a new-build house increased from 80% – 85%.

At Natwest Intermediary Solutions, the loan to income maximums for loans of over £500,000 is raised for all LTV bands up to 90% to match the current limits for loans of £500,000 or less. With Natwest’s broad range of mortgages in both the residential and buy-to-let sectors, brokers get a great opportunity to offer their customers a more complete remortgage experience.

Natwest Intermediary Solutions offer a range of fixed rate and tracker mortgages for first-time buyers including those using shared equity schemes, home movers, remortgagers and buy-to-let investors, with LTVs up to 90%.

How does it work?

The application for mortgage can be submitted online at the NatWest Intermediary Solutions web site. Once your application has been submitted, you are then required to send your KYC Declaration and all supporting documentation to them for evaluation, within 10 days you get your mortgage application reference number. Within 24 hours the application will be allocated a mortgage reference number that will be emailed to you and will also appear against your client's status if you submitted online.
