Are there many second charge mortgage products at 90% LTV?

100% loans are available from a handful of lenders

Second charge loans at 90% loan to value

There are a smaller number of lenders who can offer secured loans at 90% loan-to-value. Such high loan to value products carry higher interest rates and fees when compare to 85% or 75% for example. This is because the higher LTV ratios carry greater risk to the lender and therefore demand higher rates of interest to compensate for the risk.

What can the loans be used for?

Loans can be used for any legal purpose and are popular funding options for home improvements, debt consolidation and raising fund on buy to let property. Loans at 90% are available from £5000 to £150,000 repayable over 3 - 30 years.

What are the adverse credit options?

There are a range of suitable lenders who offer secured loans to people with adverse or bad credit. Some lenders will accept and consider applicants with CCJ's IVA's defaults, missed payments and applicants from brokers with a low credit score.
